Q. How do I change the view options for Code Blocks?
A. In your profile you can set it so that code blocks are either collapsed or open by defult. To change this go to your profile and pick the "profile" tab. Next in the list of links on the left side of the page, click on "Profile Settings". Next click the link that says "� Reading ". To Show all code blocks as open, pick "Show All". To show all code blocks as collapsed pick "Hide All". Picking "Auto" will cause you to see the defult view.

Edit by Lady Serena: Selecting "Auto" here means the code blocks are collapsed for posts that are marked as having been read, and open for posts marked as new.

Q. How do I change the view options for Signatures?
A. In your profile you can set it so that signatures are either collapsed or open by defult. To change this go to your profile and pick the "profile" tab. Next in the list of links on the left side of the page, click on "Profile Settings". Next click the link that says "� Reading ". To Show all signatures as open, pick "Show All". To show all signatures as collapsed pick "Hide All". Picking "Auto" will cause you to see the defult view.

Edit by Lady Serena: Selecting "Auto" here means the signatures are closed for members that have a post further on down the page, and open a member's last post on a page.

Q. Where is the memberlist located?
A. To view the memberlist, go to your profile and pick the "Buddy list" tab. Once the Buddy list loads, you will see three minor tabs; "Friends list", "Ignore list" and "All the members". Click on the "All the members" tab to view the memberlist.

Q. What is an "Original Member"?
A. Original Members are people who joined Varus online before Jan. 1st 2006. It is a non-transferable membership, and not available to members who joined after that date. Original Members are given certain perks to thank them for sticking with the site while it was being developed.

Q. How do I watch/subscribe to topics?
A. At the bottom of the page, below the last post of the topic, and to the left of the forum jump menu is a link that says "Watch this topic for replies". Click this link to watch a topic. Also, if you tick the box that says "Notify me when a reply is posted" when you post in a topic, it will also be added to your Subscribed Topics. You can view you Subscribed Topics by going to your profile.

Q. What are the signature restrictions?
A. Signatures have maximum size limit of 500 pixels wide, and 400 pixels high, and can not exceed 100KB (102,400 bytes). Signatures may not contain any Shockwave/Flash media. The content in all signature must be with in the bounds of the ESRB-T (Teen) rating.

Q. My signature was dissabled, how do I get it back?
A. First, change the signature content so that it doesn't break the » signature rules. Next, PM an online » Moderator and request that they turn it back on. If there is no online moderator, then you may PM crystal_wings6 or Lady Serena if they are online and request that it is turned back on. If after three (3) days the mod you PMed has not turned your signature back on, or contacted you, feel free to contact another moderator.

Q. What does the scroll icon mean?

A. This icon shows up is you have a new PM. Click on the icon to jump to your PM inbox.
